現代計時器的種類包括電磁打點計時器、電火花計時器、堅持計時器、停車計時器、反應計時器、放大計時器以及windows計時器等等。電磁打點計時器和電火花打點計時器zui為常見。
電磁打點計時器是一種使用交流電源的計時儀器,其工作電壓是4-6V,電源的頻率是50Hz,它每隔0.02s打一次點。工作原理:當給電磁打點計時器的線圈通電后,線圈產生磁場,線圈中的振片被磁化,振片在*磁鐵磁場的作用下向上或向下運動,由于交流電的方向每個周期要變化兩次,因此振片被磁化后的磁極要發生變化,*磁鐵對它的作用力的方向也要發生變化,當振片受向下的力時打點一次,當振片受向上的力時不打點,所以在交流電的一個周期內打點一次,即每兩個點間的時間間隔等于交流電的周期。
電火花計時器是利用火花放電在紙帶上打出小孔而顯示出點跡的計時儀器,使用220V交流電壓,當頻率為50Hz時,它每隔0.02s打一次點,電火花計時器工作時,指導運動所受到的阻力比較小,試驗誤差比電磁打點計時器的要小。工作原理:電火花打點計時器是利用火花放電使墨粉在紙帶上打出墨點而顯出點跡的一種計時儀器. 給電火花打點計時器接220V電源,按下脈沖輸出開關,計時器發出的脈沖電流,接正極的放電針和墨粉紙盤到接負極的紙盤軸,產生火花放電,于是在紙帶上打出一系列的點,而且在交流電的每個周期放電一次,因此電火花打點計時器打出點間的時間間隔等于交流電的周期。
